Intern (Start ASAP)

Join HSBC's Global Banking & Markets team in Kolkata as an Intern, handling Transfer Agency functions with precision and efficiency.

Your role

Key responsibilities as follows:

• Process transactions related to Transfer Agency functions accurately and timely.
• Handle subscriptions, redemptions, switches, and transfers.
• Manage reporting, static data updates, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Conduct end-of-day activities and process corporate actions and fund prices.
• Adapt to any new activities introduced in Transfer Agency functions.

About you

Candidates should possess the following:

• A Commerce degree is essential.
• Knowledge of the securities industry is desirable.
• Proficiency in English communication, both oral and written.
• Experience in multicultural environments, supporting HSBC's values.
• Strong attention to detail and computer skills in Excel and Word.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• CISI certifications and prior experience in Transfer Agency operations are advantageous.
