This is an Apprentice role for college graduates for an 11-month fixed program.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in scanning/ performing security assessments on web applications, mobile, API and thick clients to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Help the team in issue triaging for SAST and DAST.
Participate in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of security tools and technologies to enhance the organization's security posture.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises to identify security weaknesses and recommend remediation measures.
Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate security breaches, incidents, and anomalies, and provide timely incident response and resolution.
Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, attack techniques, and security trends to proactively mitigate risks and strengthen defenses.
Support security awareness and training initiatives to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and promote a culture of security awareness.
Provide technical support and assistance to end-users regarding cybersecurity-related inquiries and issues.
About you
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Strong passion for cybersecurity and a desire to pursue a career in the field.
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, concepts, and technologies.
Familiarity with security tools and technologies.
Knowledge of OWASP Top 10. Cyber Security Certifications like OSCP are an added advantage.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proactive attitude towards learning and self-development, with a willingness to acquire new skills and certifications in cybersecurity.
