Chemical Consulting Apprentice (Start ASAP)

Your role

They are looking for an apprentice for a period of 12 months to support the global chemical consulting team in terms of research, analysis, managing data and supporting activities of senior team members by producing quick-turnaround analysis and research for publications, consulting projects, and client presentations.

The team

You will be a part of the global dynamic Chemical Consulting team with ever-expanding new ways of creating and advising chemical producers, governments, financial institutions, and technology providers operating along the chemical value chain, from commodity to specialty chemicals. With in-house expertise spanning across the value chain and markets, their team are uniquely equipped to deliver bespoke projects that meet each customer's individual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Independent research via the library or Internet. 
• Possesses research and analytical writing skills.
• Understanding S&P databases, websites and maintaining global directories.
• Working on salesforce and creating/updating the opportunity.
• Writing Proposals, and finalizing documents for proposal submission.
• Supporting activities of senior team members by producing quick-turnaround analysis and research for publications, consulting projects, and client presentations.
• Ensuring that client deliverables and internal documents are of the highest quality and completed according to schedule.

About you

What they’re looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering (2024 pass out).
• High degree of data management; Experience with databases is helpful.
• Proficiency with MS applications (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Keen attention to detail and highly effective organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and able to work effectively and collaboratively with all co-workers.
• Self-motivated and ambitious, with good problem-solving skills.
