Your role

The Team:

The Data Quality Measurement team performs analyses and implements controls to ensure high-quality information for clients. Their primary goal is to provide sufficient, timely, and reliable data, adhering to business or industry standards. Comprising highly trained professionals, the team excels in understanding the business, delivering outstanding client experiences, and mitigating regulatory and legal risks for the organization.

The team helps customers better understand complicated markets, reduce risk, operate more efficiently, and comply with financial regulations. Their services benefit the entire financial enterprise, including traders, portfolio managers, risk managers, compliance officers, operations teams, regulators, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with stakeholders to define requirements and usage needs for the measurement of data quality for a specific region or part of a business.
• Undertakes ownership for the ongoing delivery of data quality measurement activities with a concentrated focus on a specific region or part of a business.
• On identification of data quality issues, performs analysis and escalates for next level review to remediate the issue and achieve high-quality data.
• Performs testing of defined use cases on new technology and delivers results on data tasks performed & identifies sources or errors.
• Performs basic root cause analysis on smaller self-contained data analysis tasks that may be related to assigned projects.
• Performs data queries to identify and drive correction of data inconsistencies.

About you

• Freshers with a Bachelor’s Degree (Finance /Engineering).
• General understanding of Financial and Market Data
• General understanding of data and data flows.
• Basic knowledge of any database and SQL queries.
• General Understanding of Data Visualization.
• Good communication skills.
• Attention to detail
• Be open to learning new things.
• Willingness to ask questions and escalate where concerns are not resolved.
• Ability to hold others accountable for the delivery of key actions.
• Ability to deliver & prioritize tasks on time.
