S&P Global Commodity Insights is seeking candidates for their 12-month Apprenticeship program within the Data Team. This role is responsible for data collection, content verification, quality control and relevant analysis to support content and products.
The team
Data Sourcing Automation Team excels in automating content extraction from diverse sources such as web, APIs, SFTPs, cloud, and much more. They transform and process this content to ensure it's valuable and deliverable to end users on any platform through end-to-end automation.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement generative AI models to automate and enhance various business processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process optimization and automation.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code to support AI and automation projects.
Conduct research and stay updated with the latest advancements in generative AI and automation technologies.
Assist in the deployment and monitoring of AI models in production environments.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding standards and practices.
Document technical specifications, processes, and workflows.
About you
Basic required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Basic understanding of machine learning and AI concepts.
Familiarity with libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Additional preferred skills
Experience with data preprocessing and analysis.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
