The S&P Global Customer Excellence group is seeking a highly qualified project manager for placement within a project team servicing Third Party Risk Management. Successful candidates will assume a role that includes working with product, solutions and engineering teams to successfully deliver customer onboarding implementations for S&P Global's KY3P.
Responsibilities & impact
Support the KY3P Leadership Team in the development, delivery and monitoring of third-party risk management solutions.
Support the Onboarding team in the following functions:
Driving customers and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered according to defined scope, dates and budget.
Project management, leadership, dependency management and cross-group collaboration skills with a proven track record of leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders/partners.
Ability to engage competently with customers at all levels of the organization.
P&L responsibility for the project.
Contribute as required to process improvements, pre-sales and team development initiatives within the team.
About you

Highly motivated self-starter with good analytical skills, initiative and an ability to work independently.
Work experience or studies related to the banking industry is highly desirable.
Experience, knowledge or interest in third-party risk management would be advantageous, including a baseline understanding of key themes, regulatory drivers and trends.
Excellent organization skills, structured approach to planning, note taking and summarizing information.
Strong MS Office skills as there will be a large reliance on processing and presenting information on Excel and PowerPoint.
Appetite to learn from a wide variety of third-party risk management experts, which would also entail the flexibility to work across time zones globally.
Ability to condense high volumes of data into digestible formats in an articulate way.
Basic qualifications
Recent graduates/postgraduates from an engineering or management field. Bachelor’s degree in program/project management delivering software products or services, product development in financial services domain OR equivalent experience.
Ability to successfully deliver highly complex multi-million-dollar projects within the financial services industry.
Good written, presentation, and verbal communication skills that can applied across organizational levels.
Good business knowledge in the risk management space.
Excellent customer-facing skills. A good communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
Good commercial awareness and governance.
Training or understanding of standard project management methodologies e.g., PMI.
Additional preferred qualifications
Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organization.
Certification in Project/program management (PMP OR equivalent).
Flexible and adaptable to project needs and changing priorities. Strong interpersonal skills with a practical, can-do approach.
Ability to work to strict deadlines and manage your own time accordingly.
